Shadows of Fear is the lead single from The False Poets' forthcoming compilation album Poetaster: A Miscellany which is being released to commemorate ten years since the band's formation.

Shadows of Fear was composed by Chris Riley and recorded by The False Poets in Newcastle and at White Gables Recording Studios, Durham between 2021 and 2022.

The track was mixed and mastered at The Culture Bunker on behalf of Nice Mind Records.

Art Direction by sydelic

Instrumental Thyme (Sloppy John B) was recorded by The False Poets in The Red Room at First Avenue Studios, Heaton circa early 2013 and was composed by Dinsdale / Lowery / Riley / T. Sturgeon.

The track was mastered at The Culture Bunker on behalf of Nice Mind records 2022.
